Your team would fit in great out at the Disabled Veterans Rest Camp in Marine on St Croix. (NW of Stillwater). They do have a 4th of July kids parade - I think it would be awesome if arrangements could be made for you all to be there. They also have a flag retirement ceremony on June 11th. Unfortunately, I'm just a camper and don't have any say so of who gets to participate. But maybe a call from one of your team to volunter to participate might just do the trick. The website is www.vetscampmn.org

The flag bike and crew were an *** addition to the St. Louis Park 2009 Homecoming parade. The crew’s enthusiasm really excited the crowd who were already awestruck by the beauty of the bike. What made the addition of the flag bike to the parade even more special was the fact that the homecoming parade and game were on September 11th. It was very important to not forget the relevance of that day by honoring those that have fought for our safety by including the flag bike.

Team leader,
Thanks for doing your thing with the five flag bikes at the St Johns vs St Thomas football game.
All of the flags and the Harley-Davidsons were really nice and made a nice start to the game.

Mr Hawver,
I attended the Hopkins Raspberry Festival Parade last summer and saw your flag bike come by with all of your flags flying and all the escort bikes with their flags. I've got to tell you, I got choked up seeing you go by. I saluted. My nephew is in the service and you brought his sacrifice to mind. I really enjoyed the reaction of the crowd with the salutes and cheering as you passed our spot. We could see you guys coming for a block away and could hear the cheers build as you came closer.
Sorry about the belated thanks, but I just found about you in your web-site. I really appreciate what your team is doing.
Thank-you!

A Note of High Praise for the New Glory Flag Bike Team:
I have had the very good fortune of seeing the New Glory Flag Bike Team in action on two different occasions. I know of very few groups who can completely overwhelm you with their presence, passion, pride and professionalism as the New Glory Flag Bike Team can. There might be a large segment of our population that knows very little of this group. I very willingly endorse them whole-heartedly with no reservation, as I have seen them in action and I have seen how they can change lives and affect immediate positive thoughts and behavior. This group of individuals is extremely powerful. They impart such a feeling of thanks, appreciation and patriotism that within a few seconds after you see them in action your tear ducts open uncontrollably and your self-esteem is lifted as if being attached to a rocket.
Thank you for all you do, New Glory Flag Bike Team. You are improving the communities and the lives of those you touch.
In appreciation,
Tim Litfin
